This is Michelle’s Asia Miles account balance. She’s earned 56,000 so far. She’s been a member for a while now, so she has Miles that were earned both before 1 January 2020 and after.

If you have Miles earned before and after 1 January 2020, and want to redeem an Award, your Miles earned before 1 January 2020 will be deducted first. Once those Miles are used up, the Miles earned after 1 January 2020 will be deducted.

Account Balance
All her Miles were earned after 1 January 2020, so they fall under the activity-based system. She only needs to earn or redeem Miles at least once every 18 months to keep them active*.
* Under the activity-based rule, the expiry date for all Miles earned after 1 January 2020 will be automatically extended by 18 months every time you earn or redeem your Miles.
